Skåne is a province on the southernmost tip of the Scandinavian peninsula. It is part of the transnational Oresund Region, which covers the south of Sweden and the neighbouring part of Denmark.

Skåne is a land of contrasts – over 90% of the population lives in its highly modern urban areas. Just outside the cities, you find wide open plains, rolling golden fields of canola, 400 kilometres of coastline, white sandy beaches, deep forests and steep cliffs. Skåne offers bustling city life as well as peaceful countryside.
